Graduation Info

Commencement information and registration can be found here. Registration deadline for those that wish to walk is April 13. Emails will be sent with additional graduation details once registered.

• Graduation filing deadline is March 10th for Spring, July 14th for Summer.
• Graduation is May 13th, 9:00 AM, Ewing field house.

How do I register?

To participate in the ceremony, you must register with Marching Orders, click here.

When is the graduation fair?

April 7th. 11AM-2PM in College Center.

 

When/ Where do I pick up my cap and gown?

During the graduation fair on April 7th from 11am-2pm in College Center. After the graduation fair you can pick up at Customer Service in the back of the bookstore.
If you are a partnership student, your will get a call once your regalia has been received.

 

I lost my… (cap, tassel, etc), how do I get a replacement? 

There will be a few extras available at the ceremony, as well as in the bookstore.

 

Can I purchase an extra tassel?

The bookstore can arrange for an extra tassel to be available. The black LCCC tassel is free, color U.P. tassel's incur a shipping cost for both extra and replacement U.P. tassels.

 

How many guests can I bring?

Due to limited spacing – Each graduate will received 2 guest tickets for inside the Ewing field house – overflow seating & live ceremony viewing will be available for additional guests.


 

Do my guests need a ticket, and how much do they cost?

Yes, guests will need a ticket for seating in the Ewing Center. Tickets are free, but space is limited.

 

Do I need to get there early? How early?

For graduates the recommendation is an hour prior to the ceremony in order to find their places and take photos.
For guests, half an hour is encouraged and they must have their seating ticket.

 

Where do guests park?

The closest locations to park are in North 6 and North 1. A parking map is available here. These lots fill up quickly, so plan extra time for parking and walking in.

 

How do I know what size to get?

Your height and weight determine gown size. A chart is available at gown pickup areas.

 

How will I get my diploma if I don’t walk?

Diplomas will be mailed after graduation; and are not given out at the ceremony. Mailing address and contact information can be updated at the Records Department.

 

How do I order a class ring?

Class rings can be special ordered through the Josten’s website here.

 

If I can’t get there to pick my gown up while the bookstore is open, how do I get it?

Pickup can be arranged after hours with security if you cannot make it during the grad fair or bookstore business hours. Bookstore hours can be located here.
The bookstore will be open the Saturday of graduation if you wish to purchase gifts, souvenirs, or Cleveland memorabilia. You can also order online here.
Special order items like diploma frames must be special ordered ahead of time.
