- Commencement is held each May in the Ewing Field House.
- Filing deadlines fall mid-spring for Spring candidates and mid-summer for Summer candidates.
- The graduation fair runs each April in College Center — exact dates are posted on the college commencement page.
Register through Marching Orders to participate, start your candidacy request. Emails with additional details follow once you register.
To participate in the ceremony you must register with Marching Orders. You can also get a cap and gown without walking, as long as you register.
At the spring graduation fair in College Center, then at Customer Service in the back of the bookstore until the week before commencement, during store hours. Partnership students get a call once regalia arrives.
A few extras are available at the ceremony and in the bookstore.
Yes. The black LCCC tassel is free; color University Partnership tassels carry a shipping cost for both extra and replacement UP tassels.
Your height and weight determine gown size. A chart is available at gown pickup areas.
After-hours pickup can be arranged with security. Bookstore hours are here. The bookstore is open the Saturday of graduation for gifts and souvenirs; special-order items like diploma frames must be ordered ahead.
Space is limited, so each graduate receives a limited number of tickets for inside the Ewing Field House. Overflow seating and live ceremony viewing are available for additional guests.
Yes, guests need a ticket for seating in the Ewing Center. Tickets are free but space is limited. You will receive an email with ticket information.
Graduates: at least an hour before the ceremony to find their places and take photos. Guests: about half an hour, and they must have their seating ticket.
The closest lots are North 6 and North 1. A parking map is available here. These lots fill quickly, so plan extra time for parking, security, and seating.
Students are contacted when diplomas are available for pick-up.
Class rings can be special ordered through the Jostens website.
