Drop-ships for Spring '21 are picked up from the bookstore to be delivered to the outreach centers on Wednesdays.
You will receive a phone call from your selected campus when your order is available for pick up.
Q. What is the dropship option?
A. Dropships are the campus' way of delivering online orders to our Lorain, North Ridgeville and Wellington locations. Staff members from the other campuses make the trip to the bookstore to collect the orders from the bookstore and take them to their respective campus. When they arrive the staff from the campus will call the customer to let them know that the order can be picked up from them. Dropships are not delivered directly to a residence.
Q. I selected the (campus) dropship but I got an email that said my order was ready to be picked up at the store. Why wasn't my order sent to the campus I selected?
A. It will be delivered to the selected campus as long as the order was placed before the dropships close for the semester. Once the dropships close orders will need to be picked up at the bookstore or shipped via UPS. Those dates can be found under the textbook menu. Our system can only 'recognize' two shipping types: Pick up or UPS. We have our dropships listed under 'Pick up' and the system sends out the email automatically. The email does provide the needed information about dropship orders and a link the dropship pick-up dates for the semester.
Q. I live in (City) but I got a call that my order is at (campus) to be picked up. Why?
A. All online orders are filled as the order was placed. Meaning if you select the Wellington campus, that is where the order will be sent as long as the order was placed before the dropships close for the semester. Once the dropships close, orders will need to be picked up at the bookstore or shipped via UPS.
Please always review your order before it is placed. If you need something changed on your order, please email us so we can make the changes. Sometimes, mistakes happen on our end. If the order was sent to a different campus and shouldn't have been sent out, we will have the campus staff member return it to us ad we will contact you when it returns.
Q. I rented textbooks (Rentals or CCP) but I live too far from the main campus, how do I return my books so I am not charged?
A. You can return your Rental or CCP books to your closest dropship location (North Ridgeville, Lorain or Wellington) and fill out a form that has your student information and they will be returned to us. We always recommend asking for a receipt signed by the staff to show that the item(s) were returned.
